- Purchased by Manteufel in Eastern Germany in 1974.
Adolph Ibach founded the company in 1793. He was an admirer and friend of Richard Wagner. When Wagner died in 1883, Rudolph Ibach, then head of the company, paid homage to Wagner with the commemorative model.
